Finance for Non-finance Executives
Author
and Coordinator: Prof P K Jain
Prof P K Jain, Professor of Finance
and Modi Foundation Chair Professor at the Department
of Management Studies, IIT, Delhi has a teaching experience
of nearly 30 years in Financial Management, Financial
Accounting, Management and Cost Accounting.
Earlier, he served as Head of Department
of Management Studies. He has to his credit various
best selling books and research papers published both
in national as well as International journals. He
has been a visiting faculty at the School of Management,
Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok; University
of Paris-I and at the International Centre for Promotion
of Enterprises, Ljubljana, Slovenia. He has delivered
more than 250 lectures in the areas of Financial Management,
Advanced Financial Management, Financial and Cost
Analysis, and Profit Planning and Cost Control during
Management Development Programmes (MDPs) at IIT, Delhi
and outside. Besides, he has conducted many MDPs on
'Finance for Non-finance', both for public and private
sector executives.

Surendra S Yadav
Dr Surendra S Yadav is Professor at the Department of Management Studies, IIT, Delhi.
He has prior experience of teaching
at the Paris School of Management where he taught
Corporate Finance and International Management. He
has been a visiting Professor at the University of
Paris where he delivered lectures in the area of International
Finance. He has also been invited to deliver lectures
at several institutions in India. Prof Yadav is a
prolific writer. He has to his credit more than 70
published papers in journals, of national and international
repute and 8 books published by reputed publishers
in the subject of finance and management. At the Department
of Management Studies, he is involved in teaching
and research in the area of Corporate Finance, International
Finance and International Management.

Dr Devinder Kumar Banwet
Dr Devinder Kumar Banwet is a Professor
and Group Chair, Operations Management at the Department
of Management Studies of, IIT, Delhi. He has been
a former Head of the DMS and also Coordinator of the
Entrepreneurship Interdisciplinary Research Programme
of IIT, Delhi. His areas of research interest include
Operations Management, Supply Chain and Logistics
Management, IT- enabled DSS, Industrial Systems Engineering,
TQM, Manufacturing Strategy, Technology and Project
Management, Materials Management, Facilities Planning,
OR-Modelling and Entrepreneurship Management. He has
been actively involved in sponsored research and consultancy
projects. He has undertaken prestigious research and
teaching assignments at Kuwait Institute for Scientific
Research, Asian Institute of Technology at Bangkok
and University of Sorbonne in the European International
Management Programme at Paris. Dr Banwet has to his
credit various published papers in journals and conferences
both national and international. Dr Banwet is a teacher,
researcher, trainer, consultant and an administrator
and is on various committees of GOI Ministry of HRD,
AICTE Accreditation and is currently Chairman ISTD,
Delhi Chapter.

Dr S G Deshmukh is a Professor of Industrial
Engineering at the Mechanical Engineering Department
of IIT, Delhi. His areas of research interest include
Applied Systems, Manufacturing Strategy, Materials

actively involved in sponsored research and consultancy
projects. He is currently Coordinator of ASRP of IIT,
Delhi.
