Prof Mritiunjoy Mohanty is Professor of Economics at IIMC. He teaches the compulsory paper on the Indian Economy and a part of the Development Economics course in the PGDBM programme. Earlier, he also taught in the MA programme of Centro de Investigacion y Docencia Economicas, Mexico City, Mexico in the academic year 1992.

Prof. Mohanty holds specialisation in Development Economics, International Trade, the Economy of Financial Markets and Open Economy Macroeconomics. He has a number of publications to his credit.
