faculty members from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
This group has conceptualised and developed the Programme
and is committed towards providing learning support to the

Dr. Rakesh Mohan Joshi is Professor
and Chairperson of Management Development Programme.
He has been Consultant, Ph. D. Examiner, Project Leader
and designated Expert. He is a Gold Medalist in Executive
Masters in International Trade from Indian Institute
of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. He has done his Masters
in Business Administration (MBA) and doctorate from
University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. His book on ‘International
Marketing’ published by Oxford Press has been
widely adopted as a core text-book in a large number
of Business Schools in Asia, the US and the Europe.
Areas of Interest/Specialization:
International Marketing, International Marketing Research,
and Export Promotion Strategy.

Dr.
R. K. Wadhwa has about 25 years of teaching
and research experience in the area of International
Business. He has done his doctorate in Economics on
‘Foreign Direct Investment – Its Role
in India’s Economy’. He has completed
more than 50 research projects, including market surveys,
commodities studies, and export potential surveys.
He has authored a book on “Foreign Investment
Law & Policy of Select Developing Countries”,
besides contributing a number of articles in various
books/publications. He is also a visiting faculty
to many Business Schools both in India and abroad
and Ph. D. Examiner.
Areas of Interest/Specialization:
International Marketing Management & Research,
International Trade Operations, International Business
Environment, and International Marketing Logistics. |

Prof.
Harkirat Singh is Consultant at IIFT and
visiting faculty to various premier Management Institutes
in India and abroad. He is a Consultant to various
medium scale companies in the area of International
Financial & Currency Risk Management and has imparted
in-company training to a number of leading industrial
houses. He is also a member of Advisory Committee
of Management Institute of Mohan Lal Sukhadia University,
Udaipur.

Dr. M. C. Harbola an ex-faculty
member, IIFT is a visiting faculty to various institutions
and universities both in India and abroad. He has
done his doctorate in Economics on Logisitcal Constraints
in India’s Foreign Trade and has got experience
of conducting research and training in India and abroad
for over 35 years. He has also served as Economist
in Rajasthan Consultancy Organisation (RAJCON), Jaipur
— one of the central financial institutions
sponsored technical consultancy organizations for
a period of more than three years. Dr Harbola has
represented IIFT as a member of the Planning Commission’s
Tenth Plan Working Group on Shipping and Air Transport.
He has authored a book, ‘International Logistics’,
and contributed a number of articles in his areas
of specialization. His book has been found very useful
as a textbook by the management students.

International Business including International Trade
operations, International Trade Logistics (with special
reference to maritime transport), and Marketing Research. |
